NOVEL, believing in the importance of sustainable development to achieve increasing levels of business excellence and based on the principles of Health, Safety, and Environment – HSE, undertakes the following commitments:

  • Awaken in its members an individual responsibility for health, safety, and environmental issues, always taking them into account in any decision-making process and in relationships with clients, suppliers, government agencies, shareholders, the community, and society in general;
  • Value human beings and ethical behavior through transparent communication and raising awareness among people about HSE principles;
  • Minimize the generation and emission of effluents through the effective implementation of control procedures and programs for disposal and treatment;
  • Absorb from the market and recycle all products it commercializes at the end of their useful life;
  • Always act preventively against harm to health, quality of life, the safety of people and processes, environmental aspects, and the rational use of resources;
  • Manage all risks through prevention and control programs, monitoring their performance both quantitatively and qualitatively;
  • Adopt legal requirements as the minimum performance standard for its HSE areas.
